Grab a stein and get ready to toast because Bier Fest Brews & BBQ is back at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Tampa’s favorite Oktoberfest inspired festival returns every Saturday and Sunday, plus Labor Day, running through September 7, and it is included with regular park admission. Guests can dig into barbecue favorites, sip craft brews, dance along to live tunes at Helga’s Bier Garten, and take on Oktoberfest style games throughout the event.

This year’s festival comes loaded with a brand new international inspired menu featuring bites from four themed cabins. Out of the Box brings a loaded brisket burnt end stuffed potato ball along with grilled sweet bourbon pineapple and pork skewers, while Smokin Samurai serves up sticky pork pops with brown sugar sriracha BBQ and a brown sugar miso pork bao bun. Mis Amigos leans into bold flavors with a beer braised grilled cauliflower steak and Nashville hot street corn, and The Tipsy Bird rounds things out with a smoked duck slider topped with raspberry bourbon BBQ. On the drink side, guests have more than sixty beverages to choose from including lagers, ales, hefeweizens, ciders, sours, moonshine, and wine, with new additions like 3 Daughters Brewing’s Coconaut Porter and New Belgium’s Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA joining the lineup. For guests who want to try a little bit of everything, the Bier Fest Sampler starts at $40 and comes in five or eight item options, while Pass Members get access to an exclusive ten item Sampler for the same price as the eight item version. Guests enjoying alcoholic beverages must be 21 or older.

Beyond the food and drinks, this year’s festival lineup includes an extended run of the popular Wild Skies Drone Show on select nights due to high demand. Guests can also explore the park’s newest animal habitat, Lion and Hyena Ridge, home to America’s largest coalition of lions in an AZA accredited facility along with a pair of spirited hyenas. The new habitat is part of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s larger five year, two hundred million dollar investment plan that includes new rides and attractions, enhanced animal experiences, upgraded guest amenities, and infrastructure improvements across the park.

With unlimited access built right into Annual Passes, Pass Members can come back again and again to sample every dish, sip every new brew, and catch the drone show as many times as they like before the festival wraps up on September 7.
