D23 Fun Kicks Off Early with Weeklong Celebrations Starting August 8
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event City-Wide Celebrations. If you thought D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event was just a weekend thing—think again. This year, the magic starts early and spreads all across the city, turning Anaheim into one big Disney celebration.
Things officially kick off on Saturday, August 8, with the debut of a brand-new exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center. Titled “Capturing Life, Creating Character: The Art of Live Action,” the exhibit dives into how live-action performances help shape Disney storytelling. Guests can check out rare photography, costumes, artwork, and even interactive displays that bring the creative process to life.

And that’s just the beginning.
The celebration continues on Tuesday, August 11 with a fan-favorite event—D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District. Expect a fun, laid-back evening filled with live music, trivia, interactive fan experiences, and of course, amazing food. The night will also feature the sixth annual World Taste of the Packing District, giving guests a chance to sample flavors from around the world all in one place.
D23 Night at Angel Stadium – August 12
Baseball and Disney fans are in for a fun night on Wednesday, August 12, as D23 Night at Angel Stadium brings the magic to the ballpark. Guests can catch the Los Angeles Angels as they face off against the Texas Rangers, all while enjoying some special D23 extras.
If you’re planning to go, it pays to arrive early—the first 23,000 fans through the gates will score a D23-themed Mickey Mouse bobblehead. Even better, 2,300 of those will be a limited-edition gold version, which is sure to be a hot item for collectors.
