Surf’s (almost) up! Walt Disney World has set a reopening date for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, which is currently temporarily closed. Typhoon Lagoon will reopen on Wednesday, January 27, 2027.
Blizzard Beach Closes the Same Day
On the same day Typhoon Lagoon reopens, Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will temporarily close. That means there’s no gap: one Disney World water park will be open the whole time.
Disney hasn’t announced when Blizzard Beach will reopen yet, and says more information is coming.
