Calling all Disney collectors! D23 has announced a special members offer for the official launch premiere of Disney Shorts, a brand new collectible series from Mintbrain. The event takes place in Beverly Hills on November 20, 2026, and D23 Members can save on tickets if they buy by November 8.
Despite the name, this is not an animated shorts screening. Disney Shorts is a line of collectibles, and the “shorts” refers to Mickey Mouse himself.
What Is Disney Shorts?
Disney Shorts takes Mickey Mouse’s famous silhouette and turns it into a canvas for other beloved Disney characters. Each figure keeps Mickey’s iconic shape while taking on the look and personality of a different character, giving collectors a fun new way to celebrate their favorites.
It is the very first collectible series from Mintbrain, and the designs come from artist HERRERABOX, also known as Francisco Herrera. Herrera’s Disney Shorts concept has roots going back more than a decade, when an earlier Mickey focused series of vinyl figures was licensed by Disney for sale in Mexico and quickly became a hard to find collectible in the United States. The new Mintbrain line brings the idea to a much wider audience.
What Is Included With a Ticket
Guests at the launch premiere will be among the first to see the Disney Shorts collection in person. Each ticket includes:
- Access to the official Disney Shorts launch premiere
- A chance to meet Mintbrain founder Carlos Klarmann and Disney artist HERRERABOX
- Cocktails, drinks, and passed canapés
- A special welcome gift
The event is billed as a celebration made by fans, for fans, with plenty of time to check out the collection up close and connect with other Disney collectors.
