You won’t need a park ticket or a banshee to visit Pandora next year. Avatar: Guardians of Eywa is a brand new immersive walkthrough and live acrobatic show based on James Cameron’s Avatar films, and it will have its world premiere at Niagara Falls on May 17, 2027.
What Is Avatar: Guardians of Eywa?
Avatar: Guardians of Eywa is a roughly 60 minute multisensory experience that blends live performance, storytelling, and immersive technology to bring guests to Pandora. It happens in two parts.
Part one: explore Pandora. Guests start with a self paced walkthrough of two of Pandora’s best known environments, the Rainforest and the Coastal Reef. Along the way, you’ll find interactive installations inspired by the moon’s glowing plants and wildlife.
Part two: a live acrobatic show. The walkthrough leads into a live performance full of acrobatics, choreography, and cinematic effects. The show follows the Na’vi cycle of life, with themes of community, connection, and the spirit of Eywa. Based on the concept art, which shows blue Na’vi inspired performers, aerialists, and acrobats in a glowing ring, it looks like it’s in the spirit of a Cirque du Soleil show.

Ticket prices and on sale dates haven’t been announced yet. Fans can sign up through the official Fever page for updates and early ticket access.
Who’s Behind It?
Several big names are teaming up on this one:
- Disney Theatrical Group and James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment licensed the experience
- EMM Williams Productions is producing it
- IMMEX developed it
- Moment Factory, the Montreal studio known for its large scale multimedia work, designed the experience, including the multimedia environments and the live acrobatics
- Niagara Parks is hosting the premiere
“Avatar: Guardians of Eywa is a defining moment for our company and for the future of immersive live entertainment,” said Tony Haswani, President of EMM Williams Productions.
Graham Coveney, Chair of Niagara Parks, added, “Niagara Falls has inspired awe for generations, and this groundbreaking new production will match that sense of wonder on an entirely new stage.”
How Does It Compare to Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom?
Disney fans know there’s already one place to visit Pandora: Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, home to Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey.Animal Kingdom Holidays 2026: Santa’s Holiday Grove, Merry Menagerie and More Guardians of Eywa is a different kind of experience. There are no rides and no park admission. It’s a theatrical show you’ll buy tickets for, like a touring production.
It’s also a great sign of how much Disney is investing in the world of Avatar outside the movies. Disney Theatrical Group has been building a lineup of immersive experiences, including the Mundo Pixar Experience, The Nightmare Before Christmas Light Trail, and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure. And over at the Disneyland Resort, Disney is still moving ahead with plans for Avatar at Disney California Adventure.
Will Guardians of Eywa Come to the U.S.?
Nothing has been announced yet, but the experience is designed to tour after it wraps up in Niagara Falls in September 2027. We’ll be keeping an eye out for future cities.
