McDonald’s Boo Buckets Are Reportedly Coming Back… with a Disney Villains Twist

Mcdonalds Boo Buckets Are Reportedly Coming Back with a Disney Villains TwistOkay, this is the Halloween news I didn’t know I needed. The rumor mill is buzzing that McDonald’s Boo Buckets are returning this month, and this year, they’re going full Disney Villains!

Here Is What We Know So Far

Mcdonalds Boo Buckets Disney Villains

According to Snackolator (who’s been reliably ahead of the curve on fast food drops), five Disney Villain Boo Buckets are expected to hit around October 20th. The lineup? Ursula, Maleficent, Scar, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil. Each bucket reportedly comes with sticker sheets featuring Disney characters and McDonald’s themed designs, so you can customize your own.

For those who somehow missed the Boo Bucket phenomenon: McDonald’s first introduced these plastic Halloween pails back in 1986, brought them back in 2022 after a six year hiatus, and they’ve been a fall staple ever since. You get your Happy Meal served in a collectible bucket that doubles as a trick or treat pail. Simple, nostalgic for so many of us!

Now, the honest caveat: McDonald’s hasn’t officially confirmed any of this yet. The date and the villain theme are still in rumor territory. But the timing lines up- last year’s buckets dropped October 21st and Snackolator’s track record on these is solid. All signs point to yes, fingers crossed!

Which Bucket Do You Want?

And can we talk about how perfect a Villains theme is? A Scar bucket? A Cruella bucket? These are going to fly off the shelves. If the rumors hold, show up on day one, especially if you’re team Maleficent like I am. Get ready for long lines at the drive through!

I’ll update this post the second McDonald’s makes it official. In the meantime, which villain bucket are you hunting for? Stay tuned to The Main Street Mouse for more!
