The Jim Henson Company Brings Labyrinth 40th Anniversary and Fraggle Rock Merch to NYCC 2026

October 10, 2026

If you’re at New York Comic Con this weekend, the Jim Henson Company booth deserves a spot on your list. The company shared a first look at its NYCC 2026 booth, and it’s full of exclusive new merchandise celebrating the 40th anniversary of Labyrinth, a big lineup of Fraggle Rock goodies, and a few surprise guests from the cereal aisle.

Labyrinth Turns 40

Labyrinth opened in theaters in June 1986, and four decades later Jim Henson’s fantasy adventure is still a fan favorite. David Bowie’s Goblin King, Jennifer Connelly’s Sarah, and an unforgettable cast of Henson creatures, from Hoggle to Ludo to Sir Didymus, made it a classic that keeps finding new fans.

To celebrate the milestone, the Henson booth has exclusive new Labyrinth merchandise made for the anniversary. For fans who grew up dancing to “Magic Dance,” this is a must stop.

Dance Your Cares Away With Fraggle Rock

Fraggle Rock fans have plenty to celebrate too. The booth features what the Henson Company calls “an awesome array” of Fraggle Rock merch starring Gobo, Mokey, Wembley, Boober, Red, and the rest of the gang from down in Fraggle Rock.

Thursday visitors also got a special treat: a real live Fraggle appearance at the booth.

Emmet Otter and the Monster Cereals Crew

The booth goes beyond Labyrinth and Fraggle Rock. Emmet Otter, star of the beloved holiday special Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas, is part of the lineup, which makes it a perfect stop as the holiday season gets closer.

And in a fun Halloween season surprise, Frankenberry, Count Chocula, and Boo Berry are at the booth too. The classic Monster Cereals characters are a fitting addition for anyone celebrating spooky season at the con.

A Quick Note for Muppets Fans

Many Disney fans wonder about this one. The Muppets have been owned by Disney since 2004, while the Jim Henson Company still owns Fraggle Rock, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Emmet Otter, and many more of Jim Henson’s creations. That means you won’t find Kermit and Miss Piggy at this booth, but there’s still plenty of Henson magic to see.

The Jim Henson Company booth is open all four days of New York Comic Con, October 8 through 11, 2026, at the Javits Center in New York City. If you’re heading to the show this weekend, stop by and, in the Henson Company’s words, say “Allo!”

Are you a Labyrinth fan, a Fraggle Rock fan, or both? Let us know which piece of merch you’d want to bring home in the comments!
