The Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom is getting a brand new limited-time pop-up experience starting October 4, and the menu is seriously impressive. Reservations open on September 29, so you will want to mark your calendar if you are planning a fall Walt Disney World trip.
The food menu is loaded with shareable comfort food that is perfect for the whole group. Standouts include the Sweet Golden Corn Fritters with cilantro ranch dressing and red chili honey, Queso Fundido with Barbecue Burnt Ends served with warm tortilla chips, and Glazed Sticky Ribs with cowboy beans and jalapeño crisps. There is also a Chipotle Chicken Tostada, a Charcuterie board with cured beef, candied bacon, and smoked pork, and a Mini Hot Dog Platter wrapped in pastry with queso for dipping.
The drinks lineup is just as exciting. Non-alcoholic options include the Orange Cream Soda made with Fanta Orange, vanilla, and cream, and the Caramel Root Beer with Sweet Cream for a fun twist on a classic. On the cocktail side, the Coal’d Fashioned with Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur sounds incredible, along with the High Plains Huckleberry featuring 44° North Mountain Huckleberry Vodka. There is even a seasonal holiday cocktail called In Holiday Fashion with bourbon, rosemary syrup, cranberry, and cinnamon that will be available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Worth noting: the pop-up will not be available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so keep that in mind when planning.
