Listen up Harry Potter fans, this one is for you! If you’ve been to Universal Studios, then you may have had Butterbeer at the Harry Potter areas in the parks. Of course, it’s not always easy to just hop over to Diagon Alley for a Butterbeer sadly. But… you’re in luck as far as convenience because new Butterbeer flavored snacks are on the horizon!
Per a press release from Warner Bros. Discovery-the company behind Harry Potter and its franchising and obtained by FanSided, the piece documents what the 2025 Butterbeer Season will entail and what fans can expect from this section of the Harry Potter fandom:
“For Harry Potter fans, Butterbeer is more than just a drink—it’s a symbol of joy, comfort, warmth, and togetherness. First introduced in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as the trio huddled in The Three Broomsticks, Butterbeer, with its butterscotch and shortbread notes, has become a global fan favorite. In honor of the wizarding beverage, Warner Bros. Discovery is proud to announce the return of Butterbeer Season – a special celebration dedicated to all things Butterbeer!”
In the same press release, the season will run from March until the last day of May. It’ll be a near-three month event
“Butterbeer Season is an annual salute to the flavor, scent and look of all things Butterbeer. Between March 1st and May 31st, the Season offers fans new ways to enjoy the delicious delicacy with the launch of a host of tasty new treats, limited-edition products and activity taking place around the world. ”
The treats
This year’s Butterbeer celebration will have a multitude of snacks and treats for your tastebuds. Whether you prefer savory or sweet, there’s something for everyone. Harry Potter fans will certainly want to try them all, or at least, try one.
First up, we have the Butterbeer-flavored graham crackers in the fun shapes of a barrel, the iconic Goldfish, and foaming steig. If you desire something crunchy to go with your Butterbeer, with the added perk of cuteness, then you cant go wrong with Goldfish.

Who doesn’t love chocolate, especially Hershey Kisses? The exclusive Butterbeer flavored candies will have a foamy center and a butterscotch shell, enveloping the flavors. I love Hershey’s chocolate, so I will definitely be adding these to my shopping cart on my next Target Run in March. The colorful-themed foils are an added bonus!

For the writers out there, the Miniso Store in China will have a stationery Butterbeer collection filled with notebooks, stickers, and writing utensils. Home goods from the retailer include candles, keychains, cups, and Butterbeer-scented candles.
