On Friday, the same day the live–action remake of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” hit theaters, Ariel, who stars in this latest version of the film, made her debut at Walt Disney World Resort.
Located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Ariel stepped out of the new movie and into Prince Eric’s shoreside castle where she was warmly welcomed by guests.
Ariel’s meet and greet location at Walt Disney Presents features artwork inspired by the movie that guides guests on a journey from sea to land, ending at the picturesque setting of Prince Eric’s shoreside castle. There are also many of Ariel’s “thingamabobs,’’ replicas of props from the film, on display.
Ariel from the live-action story appears at Walt Disney Presents in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a limited time only as well as at Disneyland Resort in California and at Disneyland Paris in France.
The live-action movie is open exclusively in theaters nationwide.
