Marvel Studios announced today that production has begun on the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday. In a multi-hour global livestream, Marvel has announced the cast for the Marvel Cinematic Universes next major crossover, Avengers: Doomsday. Earth’s mightiest heroes will come together to battle against Victor Von Doom aka Doctor Doom being played by Robert Downey Jr. The film will include many characters we know from other films in the MCU as well as some of Fox’s X-Men and more.

While this is the list announced by Marvel today, this doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be more added. This would be a perfect time to introduce all the Young Avengers or West Coast Avengers. The Young Avengers or West Coast Avengers have been rumored for sometime to be coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and this could be the perfect time. In a recent episode of Daredevil: Born Again, Yusuf Khan, Kamala Khan’s father, is the assistant manager of New York Mutual Bank and meets with Matt Murdock. Yusuf talks about his daughter Kamala and also Ms. Marvel who is New Jersey’s superhero. He states that Kamala is in California visiting some friends, but maybe there assembling a new team of Avengers.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to premiere on May 1, 2026 and will be directed by four-time Marvel directors Anthony and Joe Russo. Stay tuned as more news is released we will be sure to report on it.
