At D23 last August, it was announced that there was going to be an all-new stage show featuring some of the greatest Disney Villains. Starting May 27, 2025, the “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” show will debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
In this exciting new series, the antagonists we love to despise are in the limelight. The Magic Mirror calls upon you to assist in determining which villain has been the most unjustly portrayed. Iconic characters such as Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent take the stage to present their arguments for why they have faced the greatest injustices throughout the years. Enter this intriguing world where Disney’s most notorious villains finally have the opportunity to express their perspectives.

What is “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” about?
They’ve shattered the glass of the Magic Mirror — so what’s next? This engaging musical performance invites some of the most notorious villains into our realm to finally determine who truly deserves sympathy. Who has faced the toughest challenges as a villain? It’s their moment to reveal their perspectives in a production brimming with theatrical wonder, clever humor, and a dash of playful mischief. Ultimately, the choice is yours to decide who has faced the most injustice.
But…make your decision carefully. You never know who might be hiding a poisoned apple!

When does “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” begin performances?
This brand new stage show will debut on May 27th in the Sunset Showcase theater. The theater is located near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and previously was the venue for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. The show will take place multiple times throughout the day, so be sure to check your times guide or the My Disney Experience app so that you don’t miss out on the new show.
