What’s Coming to Disneyland Paris in 2025?

From the Disney Parks Blog and written by: The Editors

As 2025 quickly approaches, Disneyland Paris has quite the lineup in store! From the debut of “Disney Tales of Magic” to the opening of World Premiere and kick off of Disney Music Festival in the spring, we have the inside scoop — let’s dive right in!

Disney Tales of Magic

We’re kicking off the new year with the all-new nighttime spectacular, “Disney Tales of Magic”! Debuting on January 10, 2025 at Disneyland Park, the show will transport you to the enchanting worlds of Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. Blending storytelling and cutting-edge technology, from pyrotechnics and fountain displays to an exclusive soundtrack and illuminated drones — it’s a unique experience found only at Disneyland Paris!

Tim Lutkin, the show’s Creative Director, and Morgane Keesling, Senior Manager of Creative Development, revealed a few behind-the-scenes facts that have made us even more excited!

They shared the show is a tribute to the visual magic that Walt Disney brought to cinema and into our homes. Now these stories we know and love will come to life on Sleeping Beauty Castle, and for the first time at Disneyland Paris, on the facades of Main Street, U.S.A. There are plenty or original elements in the show as well, some of which required more than 300 drawings to be produced before being digitized and painted by computer.

As for the show’s original song, Tim was inspired by the prologues of some of the best musicals. He wanted to prioritize grabbing the audience’s attention from the start with a silent beginning: Geppetto running through Sleeping Beauty Castle with his lantern. The song then starts very gently, transforming into a sort of anthem for Cinderella, before returning at the end with a big orchestra.

We just can’t wait for the show’s debut in less than a month!

Disney Music Festival

Kicking off on April 19 through September 7, Disney Music Festival will turn Disneyland Park into a musical extravaganza! This all-new offering will bring to life the latest and greatest hits from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios films.

The journey will begin on Main Street, U.S.A with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed for the occasion! Mary Poppins, Bert and the Pearly Band will even join the fun under the gazebo in Town Square and in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, and Goofy’s dream of becoming an orchestra conductor will come true, but with fountains in place of musicians. From a “Disney Music Hits Concert” to “Timon’s Matadance” to “Miguel’s Fiesta Latina,” an all-new song for the celebration will tie each of these musical moments together.

World Premiere

As we wait in anticipation for the opening of Disney Adventure World and World of Frozen in 2026, the park’s entrance area is currently undergoing a major transformation.

Opening in Spring 2025, World Premiere will bring a brand-new story paying homage to historic movie theaters in Hollywood and the entertainment industry. An even more immersive experience than before, you’ll find numerous references to Los Angeles, Disney and other parks hidden within the sets. You might even recognize the façade of the historic Animation Building found on the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank.

New experiences await guests, including The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, which will offer delicious quick service options under the stars, at any time of day. You will also be able to find a wide range of snacks and hot and cold drinks for takeaway at the Searchlight kiosk.

For those who fancy a bit of shopping, the new Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique will offer a selection of merchandise. The Art Deco-style décor was inspired by the classic American department stores of the 1920s, with a touch of Disney of course! Mickey Mouse will be celebrated with many nods to him, from the wallpaper and furniture to the costumes worn by the cast members. At the center of the store will stand a majestic golden statue of Mickey, specially designed by legendary Disney Animation director and animator Eric Goldberg.

As you make your way through World Premiere, you’ll arrive in the heart of World Premiere Plaza outside. The Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams are working daily to turn the park’s former central square into a dynamic and warm environment. The surroundings will gradually be revealed to be ready for the opening of the park’s major extension in 2026, which will also mark the launch of the new name – Disney Adventure World.

We’re so excited for 2025 and all that’s in store at Disneyland Paris! Stay tuned as we continue to share more during the park’s transformation.
