“Holiday Chocolate Wonderland” Near Walt Disney World Expands with New Activities and Displays

One of my absolute favorite properties near Walt Disney World is getting into the Christmas spirit! Here’s the scoop!

Caribe Royale Orlando, the luxurious, all-suite resort just minutes from Walt Disney World® Resort, has debuted new and returning yuletide programming for the most wonderful time of the year. Beginning today and continuing through Jan. 1, guests can immerse themselves in the season’s spirit.

The resort’s signature “Holiday Chocolate Wonderland” is the highlight of the festivities, showcasing seasonal chocolate sculptures. Marvel at a 32-foot-long railroad train made from 1,600 pounds of chocolate, a life-sized sleigh with Santa’s reindeer, and the new “Jingle Bell Junction,” featuring a whimsical village of snow-covered homes for Santa’s helpers. Each display is hand-crafted by the resort’s expert pastry team in “The Chocolate Room,” dedicated to culinary artistry.

Caribe Royale has partnered with Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream to debut a new exclusive flavor, Rum Cake Royale. Available at The Market, this flavor blends warm rum, ripe bananas, and the luxurious creaminess of the resort’s exclusive, custom-blended milk chocolate available only at Caribe Royale Orlando. Guests checking in on Fridays and Saturdays from Dec. 6-28 at 4-6 p.m. will also receive a complimentary cup of cocoa for an extra touch of sweetness.
On Christmas Day, guests can enjoy special holiday meals at Caribe Royale’s restaurants. Tropicale will offer a buffet brunch from 12 – 4 p.m., featuring elevated holiday dishes, a carving station, sushi, house-made pastries, and desserts. The Venetian Chop House will host an elegant Christmas dinner from 4 – 9 p.m., with a specialty prix-fixe menu including Brasstown Beef Prime Rib and slow butter-poached halibut. Stadium Club, Orlando’s top game-viewing destination, will serve a festive meal of open-faced turkey pot pie, hot shaved prime rib beef, and a dark chocolate orange tart.
Guests of all ages can enjoy a variety of holiday activities throughout the season, including:
  • Christmas Cookie Decorating: Fridays and Saturdays, 4 – 6 p.m. until Dec. 28
  • Hidden Holiday Gnome Hunt: Scavenger hunt with a special prize for completion
  • Letters to Santa: Delivered directly to the North Pole
  • Holiday Outdoor Movies: Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.
  • Festive Photo Opportunities: Across the property
  • Menorah Lighting for Hanukkah: Dec. 25 – Jan. 2
