Disneyland Paris Debuts Limited Time Experience!

Each day at Disneyland Paris, I’m reminded of the unique role our resort plays in bringing stories to life and celebrating the cultural heritage that shapes us. Today, I’m especially proud to share “Disney ❤ Notre-Dame de Paris,” a limited time experience paying tribute to the reopening of Notre-Dame in Paris. Not only is this project a creative milestone, but also a heartfelt tribute to an enduring symbol of French resilience and beauty.

Notre-Dame Cathedral has always held a special place in my heart. Its towering spires, its centuries-old history, and the values it represents have made it a source of inspiration for countless people, myself included. To celebrate its highly anticipated reopening this weekend after such a monumental restoration is a moment of joy, and it’s one we wanted to honor in a way only Disney can—with storytelling, creativity, and reverence.

From December 5 to 14, Sleeping Beauty Castle is the backdrop for a breathtaking nighttime preshow, setting the stage just before “Disney Illuminations,” as we celebrate the spirit of Notre-Dame and the beautiful world of the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” This custom arrangement of music performed by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios adds a bold and modern twist to the songs so many of us hold dear. And through cutting-edge technology, we’ve aimed to create an experience that will leave our guests in awe, just as the impressive cathedral itself does.

One of my favorite moments is when Clopin invites us into the lively festivities of Paris. It’s a scene filled with energy, music, and colors… a perfect reminder of how stories like “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and the cathedral bring people together.

This initiative reflects something I deeply admire about Disneyland Paris: our ability to blend the magic of Disney with the rich cultural tapestry of France. And let’s not forget—none of this would be possible without the passion of our cast members, whose creativity continues to set new standards for what we can achieve, and their love for Disney.

Today truly is a moment to honor the past, embrace the present, and dream of what’s possible when imagination knows no boundaries. I look forward to seeing you all under the night skies of Disneyland Paris!
