From the Universal Orlando Blog.
When Universal Studios Florida first opened in 1990, it did so with the slogan “See the Stars. Ride the Movies.” Since then, Universal Orlando Resort has expanded to include three theme parks, eight hotels, and countless thrills, chills and memories. I grew up in Orlando, and I’m lucky enough to have made SO many of those memories over the years myself. (You never forget your first ride on Revenge of the Mummy!)
Now we’re gearing up for the addition of Universal Epic Universe, our fourth theme park that promises to immerse guests in the fictional worlds they love in ways they’ve never experienced before. If you’re as excited as I am — which is to say, VERY excited — you’ve probably got lots of questions. Fret not! I’ve compiled everything you need to know about Epic Universe below, from opening date to tickets to details about the incredible worlds you’ll soon get to experience.
Bookmark this article! We’ll continue to update it with new information about Universal Epic Universe as it’s released.

Where is Epic Universe located?
Epic Universe will be located south of the existing Universal Orlando Resort parks, a short drive down the road. The official address will be 1001 Epic Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819. If you want to park-hop, don’t sweat it: there will be complimentary resort shuttle bus transportation between Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay, and Universal CityWalk, along with all of the Universal hotels.
What worlds will Epic Universe feature?
Epic Universe will feature five stunningly transportive worlds, and we’ve got the breakdown on all of them:
Celestial Park
When you first enter Epic Universe through the Emerald Gate and under the Chronos device — the giant machine that powers the park — you’ll arrive in Celestial Park, a world between worlds. During the daytime, you can explore living gardens and breathtaking fountains. At night, the world lights up and transforms completely. In addition to immaculately themed restaurants and retail options, you’ll find two attractions: Constellation Carousel and Stardust Racers. Celestial Park is also home to the portals that will take you to Epic’s four other worlds.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
Whether you want to soar through the sky on dragonback or embrace your inner Viking, there’s something for you to experience in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. The village of Berk is teeming with excitement, with attractions like Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, Dragon Racer’s Rally, and Fyre Drill, along with a show, The Untrainable Dragon. And yes, you’ll be able to meet Toothless AND Hiccup!

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
Travel through the iconic green pipe to arrive in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, home to both Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country. There’s no shortage of fun to be had here, from attractions including Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge to Yoshi’s Adventure to Mine-Cart Madness. In fact, thanks to your Power-Up Band, you can experience all of the interactive elements within the world.

Dark Universe
Dark Universe is an eerie world shrouded in mystery, home to both monsters and monster makers alike. Step through the crackling, electric portal and into the village of Darkmoor, where ill-fated scientific experiments abound, and nothing stays buried for long. Here, you’ll find Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment and Curse of the Werewolf, two thrilling attractions themed to the classic Universal Monsters.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
Explore multiple eras of the wizarding world in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. In this third park iteration of “Harry Potter,” you can explore 1920s Paris — as seen in the “Fantastic Beasts” franchise — and travel to the 1990s British Ministry of Magic. This world includes a first-of-its-kind live show, Le Cirque Arcanus, and a groundbreaking dark ride, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. Plus, you’ll be able to sharpen up your spell-casting skills at interactive wand experiences throughout wizarding Paris.

Are there hotels near Epic Universe?
You bet there are! You can find three hotels near Epic Universe:
Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel
Universal Helios Grand Hotel is located just outside of Celestial Park in Epic Universe. You read that right — this hotel is located at Epic Universe, and when you stay there, you can enjoy your very own entrance into Celestial Park (theme park ticket required).
With an elegant, Mediterranean-inspired feel, Universal Helios Grand Hotel has no shortage of amenities, including a zero-entry pool with underwater speakers, a fire pit area, and poolside movies. If you’re in the market for awe-inspiring views of Epic Universe, Bar Helios should be your first stop. This rooftop bar features an al fresco area where you can take in all of the majesty.
Bookings for Universal Helios Grand Hotel will be available starting October 22. Click here to learn more.
Universal Stella Nova Resort
Opening January 21, 2025, Stella Nova Resort is inspired by the stars and galaxies that swirl above us. You’ll find images of the cosmos throughout the hotel — actual photos taken by telescopes — along with a stunning swimming pool, poolside bar and grill, and plenty of on-property dining options. You’ll also find a walking path to Epic Universe!
Universal Terra Luna Resort
Opening early 2025, Terra Luna Resort takes inspiration from the planets in outer space. In the lobby, you’ll be greeted by a giant projection of a planet that you can interact with! Sounds like a perfect primer for the other worlds you’ll experience in Epic Universe. Like Stella Nova Resort, Terra Luna Resort also features a beautiful swimming pool, poolside bar and grill, and an array of dining options.
