Dive Into Adventure with Newly Released Disney’s ‘Moana 2’ Toys, Dolls and Costumes

We’re back! Everyone’s favorite wayfinding heroine is returning for an all-new adventure as Walt Disney Animation Studios’ highly anticipated theatrical sequel to the original film, Moana 2, sails into theaters on November 27. We know that this time, Moana will journey to the far seas of Oceania alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers on an expansive new voyage for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced. Favorite characters Moana, Maui, Heihei and Pua are all back – and this time, they’ve got some new friends, including Moana’s little sis, Simea.
And you can gear up for this exciting adventure as new Moana 2-inspired products begin making waves today, with more to come later this year. These new products really showcase the music, colors, and immersive storytelling of Moana’s world as seen in Moana 2.
Moana Gets a New Look in Toys from Mattel
New dolls from Mattel showcase your soon-to-be favorite sister duo, Moana and her little sis, Simea. The Singing Adventure Moana doll features her brand-new look and sings a clip from “We’re Back,” one of the original songs from the film. She also comes with fun accessories including her signature oar, a headdress, and a conch shell. Disney is also introducing Moana’s energetic little sister as part of the new products, like the Simea Fashion Doll. Mattel rounds up the assortment with new playsets, including a fun new canoe set modeled after Moana’s larger canoe in the film.
Moana Joins the American Girl Doll Lineup
The American Girl Disney Princess Collection continues to expand with the newest addition, the Disney Moana Doll by American Girl®. The 18-inch doll has curly hair and brown eyes, and wears Moana’s signature new outfit from the theatrical sequel to the original film. Fan favorite characters Heihei and Pua are part of the story in the Moana Accessories pack which also comes with Moana’s signature oar, and a floral lei that fits around Moana’s head. Moana will join other recently released Disney Princess American Girl Dolls, like Rapunzel, Tiana, Cinderella, and Ariel.
Moana-Inspired Moments for Halloween
But this Halloween is sure to be filled with kids sporting Moana’s new look, courtesy of JAKKS Pacific. Parents can look for Moana’s Adventure Outfit and even Moana’s new Sea Star Necklace, which opens to reveal a sea star – gifted to her by her little sister (awwwww!) – and it magically lights up!
More Fan-Favorite Brands Showcasing the Exciting World of Moana 2
Get ready to go on your own voyages assembling the new Moana’s Adventure Canoe and Moana’s Island Fun building sets from LEGO. Both inspired by the world of Moana 2, these LEGO sets feature mini-figures of Moana and friends, including her pal Pua. These will be available in December 2024 and early January 2025!
Funko is also joining the brands launching new Moana 2 products this fall. The just-announced Maui POP (shapeshifter, demigod of the wind and sea, hero to all – you know the drill) features his signature magical fishhook, and Moana comes with a little buddy, her little sis Simea.
Other Moana 2 products taking over shelves soon include PopSockets, phone cases, books and apparel. Better Sour, 100 Coconuts and Oral B will also be answering the ocean call in the Consumables category.
