World Princess Week is here and we’re celebrating our beloved Disney Princesses all week long! Around the world, select Disney parks and resorts are joining the magical celebration with new, returning and year-round offerings from Princess-themed attractions to special entertainment, unique merch and must try food.
Disneyland Paris
Now through Aug. 31, there are even more ways to celebrate beloved Disney Princess characters at Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris including a special royal welcome from Minnie Mouse every morning at the Main Street, U.S.A. train station balcony as she’s all dressed up in her princess gown, plus an encounter with Belle in Fantasyland where she’ll share some of her favorite stories.
There’s even an exclusive show “Live Your Story – a Disney Princess Celebration,” only available during World Princess Week! And just in time for this special celebration, Disneyland Paris has designed an exclusive collection only found at the resort.
There are also themed eats at Disneyland Park and Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris such as the Royal Bayou Cake, Best. Shake. Ever!, Wave of the Ocean Cake, Mermaid Kiss Cupcake, Rapunzel’s Golden Glow mocktail, and the Enchanted Petals Cocktail available for a limited time.
Looking to stay somewhere fit for royalty? The newly reimagined five-star Disneyland Hotel is inspired by Disney stories such as “Moana,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Tangled,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “The Little Mermaid” and many others.
Those looking for the most immersive experience can book one of the five signature suites featuring design elements from Walt Disney Animation Studios classics such as “Sleeping Beauty,” “Cinderella,” and “Tangled.”
At La Table de Lumière inspired by the iconic Hall of Mirrors in the royal Palace of Versailles and Disney Animation’s “Beauty and the Beast,” you can enjoy exquisite French cuisine in the company of beloved Disney princesses and princes as they roam and interact with you.
Or if you’re in Fantasyland, Auberge de Cendrillon offers a fun dining experience full of treats straight from Cinderella’s kitchen in the medieval splendor of a banquet hall inspired by the film.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has joined the World Princess Week festivities through Sep. 1 with a celebratory “A Royal Walk with Princesses.” Catch this magical walk every Friday to Sunday featuring beloved Disney Princess characters in Fantasyland.
Along with all their delicious delights, Royal Banquet Hall is serving new cupcakes themed to Ariel, Cinderella and Snow White. Additionally, you can also meet and complete royal tasks together with your favorite princesses daily at “An Adventureland Princess Encounter” in Adventureland throughout the celebration.
Those visiting anytime of the year can admire the Castle of Magical Dreams – a Disney Castle inspired by beloved Disney princesses and queens from 13 stories such as “Moana,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Tangled,” “Mulan,” “Frozen” and many more. This majestic edifice highlights the diversity of these unique characters and their stories with various architectural elements found throughout the castle. Best of all, you can even meet many of these princesses at the Royal Reception Hall inside the castle!
Walt Disney World
Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating some limited time eats such as the Moana Petit Cake, Tiana Cone, Guardian of the Dragon Gem cake and Rapunzel Sundae.
However, if you’re looking to dine alongside your favorite Disney Princess, make sure to book reservations to Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at EPCOT for an opportunity to encounter a royal promenade of princess friends!
You can join Princess Tiana and the jazz-loving alligator Louis on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as you journey down the bayou discovering both friends familiar and anew for this last ingredient – musical critters! And if you can’t make it to Walt Disney World in time for World Princess Week, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure also opens at Disneyland Resort on Nov. 15.
If you’re a fan of Moana, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana invites you to explore outdoor trails and encounter water in magical ways just like Moana as you learn about the global water cycle and how to protect it in a fun and engaging way, so you can have a positive impact on the world’s water.
Disneyland Resort
Kick off your morning at Disneyland Resort with Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa where you can reserve a scrumptious three-course breakfast for you and your family! Here you can enjoy a dining experience with unique interactions from your favorite Disney Princess, such as Mulan teaching warrior moves and Belle reading a story to guests.
Adorable princess-themed novelties will also be available throughout Disneyland Resort including the Princess Tiana Sipper, Princess Aurora Sipper and Princess Belle Sipper while supplies last.
Princess fans should also stop by Storytelling at Royal Theatre in Fantasyland where you can witness witty reenactments of scenes from “Beauty and the Beast” and “Tangled.” Still wanting more? Well, stop by the Royal Hall in Fantasyland where you can meet some of your favorite Disney heroines!
Shanghai Disney Resort
Those visiting Shanghai Disney Resort will want to stop by The Enchanted Storybook Castle in Fantasyland, which pays homage to “happily ever after” and the magic in all fairy tales. The castle features Disney queens and princesses throughout, including the four mosaic walls inside the castle that depict different fan-favorite princess stories.
If you’re looking to meet some of these Disney royals, you can find them over at Castle Encounters Boutique, or if you’re feeling hungry, you can stop by the Royal Banquet Hall for delectable dishes inspired by the heroines themselves.
Within the castle walls, you can also experience the attraction “Once Upon a Time” Adventure that leads you to the top of the castle as you ascend a magnificent staircase to a “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” interactive experience.
Underneath the castle, you’ll find the Voyage to the Crystal Grotto, that’ll give you a dazzling display of Disney Princess tales as you journey through the waterways of Fantasyland.
Tokyo Disney Resort
Fantasy Springs is the newest themed port at Tokyo DisneySea and even includes Rapunzel’s Forest inspired by Disney Animation’s “Tangled.” In this area, you’ll be transported directly into the film and can explore where Rapunzel grew up.
As you journey through the forest you might notice a few familiar sights including Rapunzel’s Tower, The Snuggly Duckling restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat and Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, where you can experience the story of Rapunzel as it comes to life for the first time at a Disney park.
You won’t want to skip this attraction as you journey through recognizable locations – including the fan-favorite Lantern Festival scene featuring the song “I See the Light.”
Once you’re done exploring Fantasy Springs, Tokyo Disney Resort has other Princess-themed experiences you can enjoy. At Fantasyland in Tokyo Disneyland, you can find Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall inside Cinderella’s Castle featuring paintings, dioramas and other artworks that take you through the iconic story.
