The summer days are winding down and the Back-to-School season is approaching. What’s that you say? You’re not ready yet? Well, no worries, we got you covered!
There’s no better way to gear up for a new academic year than with a touch of Disney magic. Whether they’re starting kindergarten (aww) or are off to college (gasp), we’ve got a delightful array of products that blend practicality with personal style for students of all ages.
Preschool-Middle School
Let’s start with the essentials. A solid backpack is a must-have, and we’ve got lots to choose from! Some of my personal faves are this Disney Princess Castle Backpack and Nap Mat Bundle from Pottery Barn, perfect for the mini Sleeping Beauty in your life, and this Spider-Man Backpack from Disney Store, which is as dynamic as the webslinger himself, featuring zipper pulls and adaptable straps. It’s also got a tech sleeve, so why not throw in a pair of these blue light glasses from Sun-Staches, available in Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse patterns. There are also options for adults, including this “The Little Mermaid” design from Pan-Oceanic that makes life the bubbles.
Now we’ve got to fill that backpack up! Enjoy this lunch, you will. Padawans will love this Star Wars Grogu Bento Box by Yoobi, and to stay hydrated they’ll need one of these Stainless Steel Water Bottles from Disney Store that comes in a variety of styles featuring your favorite characters (I’ll be picking up the “Cars” version myself).
If your kid is anything like me, the right stationery can really spark creativity. This adorable “Frozen” Zip-Up Kit by Disney Store includes essentials like a glue stick, eraser, and scissors, but also has markers, colored pencils, and a notepad —basically everything you need to bring out their inner artist. There’s also this pack of Star Wars Gel Pens and Marvel Notebooks, both by Yoobi, that put a twist on traditional school supplies. Appropriate for fans of all ages.
For some, a new school year can be intimidating. A good book can help calm those jitters, so I’m recommending “Disney/Pixar Inside Out 2: Go to Sleep, Anxiety!” from Disney Press that could help little ones work through some of their big feelings. For those who are interested in exploring the world outside of the classroom, the “National Geographic Kids Almanac 2025” includes information on new species discoveries, cutting-edge nature and space facts, and even some jokes designed to make learning fun.
High School and Beyond
Want to show off your fandom this fall? This subtle and sweet Ohana Short Sleeve Tee (coming soon!) pairs nicely with these vintage style socks that allow you to rep Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck (I’ll be sporting both). All are available from Stance. You can also show off your personal style with a variety of phone cases, like this Darth Maul one from OtterBox.
I hope the school year is full of joy! Wishing you all the best.
