Hi Everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of my Adventures in Florida Living blogs, and I’ve missed talking to you! For years I did a weekly personal article about what’s been happening with me and life here in Central Florida. Speaking of life, whew, it’s been super hectic for a long time, hence my absence.
My first book, Moving to Main Street USA, has been out since 2017, which is hard to believe. That little book has meant so much to so many people, I can’t tell you how grateful I am. Readers have been wanting a part 2 to that book, wanting to hear more stories and to know what’s been happening since. While I haven’t had time to write it, I have taken the feedback to heart and decided to continue my story. I started the Daydream Believing podcast a week ago, and while there are only two episodes, it’s been well received! Not only does this little show give me an outlet to talk with you all, it serves as a weekly outing with friends! What does that mean exactly? Well, these days a lot of people are struggling and sometimes the best medicine is chatting with friends. I know it helps me! We are covering real life topics as well as obstacles, with some humor in between. It’s a lot of fun thus far!
In addition to the new podcast, I’ve also finally decided to finish my short story book that I’ve been dragging my feet on. This new book takes a similar approach as the podcast. Stories and such from the heart, just like my previous blogs. Sometimes we get stuck in life and we lose a bit of ambition, I think that’s part of it. Well, you guys have asked for more and I’m listening. Thank you so much for supporting my efforts over the past almost 14 years! Can you believe TMSM is turning 14 this year?
