‘Epic Mickey’ Wii Game Coming to the Nintendo Switch.
During this morning’s Nintendo Direct broadcast, it was announced that the original video game “Epic Mickey’ will be ported to the Switch console as Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed

We have an UPDATE: The Game will be called ‘Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed’ plus a new game Trailer below.
UPDATE: “Join Mickey Mouse on a colorful adventure as he traverses Wasteland, a world inspired by Disney classic stories,” the synopsis reads. “Play the 2010 classic along with a variety of upgrades in this enhanced remake of the action-adventure 3D platformer originally released on the Wii console.
“Along with updated graphics and other improvements, Mickey Mouse’s abilities have been improved with a whole new set of skills and more. For fans of the original and new fans alike get ready for an adventure of truly epic proportions when Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed launches on Nintendo Switch this year.”
No further details have been announced, but we are hoping that the original peripheral the “Paint Brush” will also be part of the port. We loved Epic Mickey when it first came out. Released in 2010 as a collaboration between Disney Interactive Studios and Junction Point Studios.
Epic Mickey was part of an effort by Disney to re-brand the Mickey Mouse character by placing less emphasis on his pleasant, cheerful side and reintroducing the more mischievous and adventurous sides of his personality
Disney Epic Mickey is an action-adventure platforming game for the Wii console that sends Mickey Mouse on an epic journey of creativity and discovery. As Mickey, the player is propelled into Wasteland, an alternate world made up of Disney’s forgotten creative efforts, and is given the power to wield paint and paint thinner to dynamically change the world while determining Mickey’s path to becoming an epic hero.
Through the use of this unique paint and paint thinner, the key components of animation, and Mickey’s tools for impacting his world, players will have the ability to shape how the story unfolds as they discover the concept of “Playstyle Matters” – an innovative style of gameplay created by Disney Interactive Studios’ Junction Point, led by industry luminary Warren Spector, where players creatively tackle different challenges in the world to explore all the possibilities and storylines – but with consequences for their chosen actions.
