Did you know you can stay at Elsa’s Ice Palace only at Disneyland Paris? It’s true, you can finally climb to the top of the North Mountain and take up residence at Disneyland Hotel in a suite inspired by this iconic destination from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen”! We’re here to give you the inside scoop on why everything you’ve ever loved is within these walls of the Royal Suite.
Every inch of this space is as cool as can be, which of course means snowflakes and ice play a huge role in the overall design. Floor to ceiling, the entire space from the hallway to grand sitting room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and en-suite bathroom is draped in stunning icy, blue and silver details. Over in the sitting room, you’ll find a coffee table featuring a snowflake, this isn’t just any coffee table as its design resembles the fountain found at the foot of the stairs in the film.
We can’t talk about the sitting room without pointing out the stunning chandelier made of crystal glass right in the middle! Crafted by the same European artisans as the Sleeping Beauty Castle-inspired chandelier in the lobby, this is a one-of-a-kind piece of décor. From the side, it appears as if icicles are dangling delicately from the ceiling, but step right underneath and you may notice it’s also snowflake-shaped.
We couldn’t keep it in, the bedroom has to be one of our favorite rooms in the Royal Suite! Fit for royalty, it’s spiraling in frozen fractals all around. From diamond-shaped, stained-glass windows to a floor strewn about with Elsa’s Ice Magic, there’s a reason why Marshmallow and the Snowgies are so fond of this place!
And if this suite wasn’t magical enough, all the windows look directly into Disneyland park with a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle! Stepping off from the sitting room, there’s even a balcony where you can be queen or king of the kingdom without having to leave the hotel.
Disney Imagineers truly tested the limits and broke through when dreaming up this special place in collaboration with Disney Animation! Now crystallized as one of the most immersive suites yet at Disneyland Paris, it’s just one of the many reasons why you will fall in love with the newly reimagined Disneyland Hotel. Stay tuned as we continue to share more from Disneyland Paris!
