Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and we’re honoring moms and the mother figures in our lives with a little help from our friends at AdventHealth for Women. We’ve rounded up five ways to celebrate mom at Disney Springs (happening Friday, Saturday and Sunday from April 28 through May 14).
1. Bloomable Postcards
Visit Town Center to write mom a heartfelt message on “bloomable” postcards from AdventHealth for Women, from 12-8 p.m. daily between April 28 and May 14. When you’re done, simply drop your note in the nearby mailbox (we’ll provide the stamps). When mom receives the postcard in the mail, she’ll find seeds in the paper itself that will bloom into beautiful flowers!
2. Family Photos
We know that mom somehow seems to always end up behind the camera, so our Disney PhotoPass team is ready to help get the whole family in the shot, and with some fun props (available on the weekends). Strike a pose or snap a selfie in front of the Mom! photo op, located around the corner from the Welcome Center in Town Center. Don’t forget to tag your photos with #AdventHealthforWomen and #DisneySprings!
3. Disney Springs Kids Club
Looking for the perfect way to kick off a day with the family at Disney Springs? Stop by the high-energy Disney Springs Kids Club! While Disney Springs Kids Club happens every Saturday morning, you can enjoy a bit of extra fun on April 29, May 6 and May 13 with complimentary face painting for the whole family (available while supplies last).
4. Delectable Dining
Whether it’s a southern brunch at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, surf-and-turf from The BOATHOUSE or Italian favorites at Terralina Crafted Italian, there’s something for everyone at Disney Springs. Don’t forget to pick up something sweet from Amorette’s Patisserie or The Ganachery!
5. Thoughtful Gifts
Find the perfect gift for mom at Disney Springs! Share some sparkle with an adorable charm from Pandora Jewelry featuring Kanga and Roo, or show your super-sized love with an Incredibles-themed Mother’s Day pin. You can also find sentimental cards and keepsakes at Sugarboo & Co. and Lovepop.
