The 95th Academy Awards are just around the corner, and we’re celebrating throughout Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. For a limited time, you can join in on the Academy Awards fun with specialty-themed food options and Oscar-worthy photo ops!
Did you know that Walt Disney was awarded a one-of-a-kind Snow White-inspired Oscar statue? Well, if you are in California, you can see this special piece of Oscars history over at Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure park from Feb. 27 until March 20. Courtesy of The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, California, you can take pictures with this unique trophy in the place inspired by the original Cathay Circle Theater where “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” premiered.
From March 10-12, you can indulge in some Oscar-worthy sweets just steps away from Carthay Circle Restaurant! At Award Wieners in Hollywood Land, choose between three limited-time funnel cakes and satisfy your sweet tooth. But don’t snub the milkshake from Schmoozies! You can order a chocolate brownie milkshake that is not only delicious but also dressed for the occasion.
After, make your way over to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for even more Oscars fun! Any guest visiting the Disneyland Resort may walk the red carpet and snap a pic next to a larger-than-life Oscars statue near the lobby of the hotel. This show-stopping photo op will be available from February 28 to March 15, so don’t miss out!
If you are in Florida, make your way over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for some great Oscars-themed treats! Visit the ABC Commissary to see it decked out in this year’s art and order a tropical tart topped with an Oscars chocolate coin. You can also pick up a specialty popcorn blend at select popcorn carts throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Available now until March 12.
