The master of mischief, Loki, is back for another season on Disney+ and we just got a first look showing another character’s surprise return from the first season of the series.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably already well aware that the second season of “Loki” on Disney+ will include the return of (Tom Hiddleston) in addition to Sylvie (Sophia di Martino) and Morbius (Owen Wilson). However, Disney+ recently released a trailer showing footage from a few different shows coming to the streaming service this year and in it we saw the return of other major characters to the second season of the show: all three time keepers.
Yes–you read the right! In the trailer, Loki can be seen stabbing a wall where a mural of all three Time-Keepers are on screen. In the foreground, the decapitated head of one of the puppets can be seen. The trailer from Disney+ can be seen below in a tweet from their official Twitter account.

As of right now, it’s said the second season of the show will continue the story of the first but in a way that feels different. According to the first season’s head writer, Michael Waldron, the second season will feature a “new emotional ground” for Loki.
In this second season Loki is said to once again be working with the Time Variance Authority and with Morbius M. Morbius, regardless of the fact that he does not remember Loki. The second season is said to be a “battle for the soul of the TVA” and will help connect the entire Multiverse Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Filming for the second season began in June of 2022. The second season finished filming in October. Although, a set date for the premiere of season two is not yet known.
Season 2 of Loki will premiere on Disney+ this summer
