Avoid Water Aboard Disney Cruise Line Ships
Water is one fur-midable opponent for cats everywhere, but Disney Cruise Line offers the purr-fect way to sail, relax and explore high above the seas. As an added bonus, there’s no shortage of window seats to find a cozy place to perch or lay out in the sun, and with the ship’s mew-mentum, no one will notice a few items batted off the counter just for fun, right?
Snack the Cat Way: Sipping Blue Milk!
It may sound hiss-terical, but stopping for a snack is a must, we’re not kitten! And it’s not just the Loth Cats of Batuu who know that Blue Milk makes for a wonderful treat. Next time, enjoy a cup of this frozen blue or green local specialty at the Milk Stand in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park the cat way—no straw!
Enjoy a Cat Nap in the Sun
All of these adventures will have any cat in need of a paws, and we can’t think of a better place to rest than the Magic Kingdom Park hub grass at Walt Disney World Resort. This open area has it all: sun, space and room to stretch out for a lovely nap right in the center of the park. And with such space and comfort for all, you may just find a few copycats inspired by your great idea!
Spend Time with Best Fur-ends
Disney sites are full of claw-some cats from favorite stories, including Marie, the Cheshire Cat, Figaro, Simba and many more! One special feline friend made just for Disney Parks is Gelatoni, a Disney friend of Duffy, at Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort. In case you haven’t heard of him, Gelatoni is a cool cat with a passion for painting. He uses his tail as a brush to paint scenes of his adventures, his friends and his namesake: gelato Italian ice cream!
Delight in Some Play Time During “Disney D-light”
After that afternoon nap, cats young and old will be ready for a bit of play, and Disneyland Paris is the paw-sitively perfect place to be. For the 30th anniversary celebration, the “Disney D-light” pre-sequence lights up Sleeping Beauty Castle before “Disney Illuminations,” combining fan-favorite Disney songs, video projections, illuminated water jets, lighting effects, mist and, every cat’s favorite, lasers! It makes for meow-ments you’ll never forget!
