We’re now just DAYS away from the return of the nighttime spectaculars at Disneyland Resort, and I know many of us can hardly contain our excitement! As you may know by now, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks are returning to Disneyland park, and “World of Color” will be back for guests to enjoy at Disney California Adventure park beginning this Friday, April 22!

Believe it or not, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Generations of guests have been delighting in this fan-favorite spectacular for five decades, and the enchantment will continue for a whole new generation of dreamers. It’s bound to be a magical homecoming!

In honor of the parade’s milestone anniversary, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” will return with an all-new, enchanted grand finale that celebrates the theme of togetherness. This universal theme is reflected in the creative concept of the new finale sequence.

Inspired by both the original design of classic “Main Street Electrical Parade” floats and Disney Legend Mary Blair’s iconic art style on “it’s a small world,” the new grand finale brings together more than a dozen Disney Animation and Pixar stories. These stories are interpreted in thousands of sparkling lights and electro-synthe-magnetic musical sound, with unique representations of beloved characters as animated dolls.

Here to tell you a little more about the new finale and give you an exciting first look are two of the show directors for “Main Street Electrical Parade,” Jordan Peterson and Robin Trowbridge.

We cannot wait to stand along the parade route once again and enjoy the return of the “Main Street Electrical Parade” for a limited time!

And in case you missed it, be sure to also check out the nighttime spectaculars foodie guide and a sneak peek at the “Main Street Electrical Parade” merchandise that will be arriving soon, too!

So who’s with me? Let’s get ready to “ignite the night” at Disneyland Resort once again!
