‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Box Office Climbs to $297 Million

It’s official–“Spider-Man: No Way Home” is now one of the most successful movies of all time at the worldwide box office. The film currently has amassed over $297 million after raking in another $37.1 million on Monday.

For those not aware, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has been a sensation for Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, as fans everywhere are calling it one of the greatest Marvel movies of all time. The film, in its opening weekend, was able to gross over $260 million, making it the second-highest in box office history behind “Avengers: Endgame,” which sat at $357 million in its own epic opening weekend.

At the worldwide box office, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” sits as the third-biggest opening of all time. Currently, on Rotten Tomatoes the film has a Tomatometer score of 94%, with a 99% audience score.

Wendy Ice of Observer (UK) calls the film “an overflowing, funnel-web cornucopia of treats for Spider-fans.” Tom Holland has also received great reviews for his performance in the Spider-Man film.
Peter Travers of ABC News commented on Holland’s performance, writing: “Tom Holland is better than ever in his surprise-packed, third solo outing as a teen hero in a onesie who’s out to save the world and a faltering pandemic box office… Good one, Spidey.”
IMDB gives the film a 9/10 and Metacritic gave the high flying adventure movie a score of 72%.
We don’t want to spoil the film for those who have still not yet made it to the theaters to see this epic film. However, given the film’s ending, we can’t help but wonder when we’ll see Holland’s portrayal of the character pick up following the events of this larger than life movie.
