Happy December Main Streeters!
If you are like me, you’ve been busy decking the halls for this festive time of year.
Also like me, you are probably always on the lookout for magical decorations. Sometimes they can be a bit hard to come by, so I took matters into my own hands.
I have a super simple do it yourself ornament that you can make with just a quick trip to your local superstore.
It’s Mickey Mouse!
The supplies you will need are:
-Small round ornaments.
-Large round ornaments.
*I highly recommend getting the shatterproof ones.
-Hot glue gun and glue sticks.
Here are the directions to make them:
Choose 1 large ornament for Mickeys head and 2 small ornaments for Mickey’s ears.
Hot glue each of the smaller ornaments to each side of the large ornament. I recommend gluing them so the top of the small ornaments go toward the back of the large ornament.
Put them in a muffin tin to let the glue dry.
Add an ornament hanger to the large ornament and enjoy them on your tree!
Here are pictures a few of mine for some inspiration:
One warning though, once you get started making these, you won’t want to stop at just a few. I mean, you have to buy the packs of ornaments anyway, right? They also make wonderful Christmas gifts for other Disney fans in your life!
Have fun crafting and I hope these make your holidays a little more magical!
