When it comes to summer fun, exploring EPCOT is a must for tweens and parents alike. With the return of “EPCOT Forever” beginning July 1, you can experience the magic of this nighttime fireworks spectacular, which will brighten the skies around World Showcase Lagoon for a limited time.
There’s plenty of fun at the park for the entire family all day long, whether blasting off for
exploration on Mission: SPACE, capturing a playful greeting from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and other beloved Disney characters, or savoring a delicious treat.
To help you navigate the park, we created a photo tour with some of our favorite EPCOT experiences for tweens. Are you ready? On your mark, get set … pose!
First stop, the perfect family photo staged at the EPCOT icon, Spaceship Earth.
Next stop:
attractions, because we can’t wait. Blast off on a thrilling, simulated NASA-style launch aboard Mission: SPACE. You can also take flight in Soarin’ Around the World, and reach up to 65 mph on a spin around Test Track presented by Chevrolet.
Head over to World Showcase to snap some cute, “likeable” photos.
In the France pavilion, be sure to stop for a sweet treat. You can’t go wrong with a parfait … bon appétit!
The pavilion will soon be home to La Crêperie de Paris, a delicious new restaurant offering both table- and quick-service options. It opens Oct. 1, 2021, along with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, the new immersive, family-friendly attraction featuring Chef Remy. It all debuts as part of the “World’s Most Magical Celebration” honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.
Remember to keep an eye out for some of your favorite Disney friends, who are always happy to see you!
And there’s more! Starting July 15, tweens can join in on Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, featuring more summertime fun for the whole family.
See you real soon!
