We gave you some tips for the perfect day at Disneyland Resort with your young family. But what if you’re cruising kid-free? We’ve got you covered there, too! There’s no better way to spend the day with your friends than by taking in the magic and thrills together at Disneyland Resort. So grab your crew and make it happen!
Pack the App! As you plan your Disneyland Resort trip, be sure to secure tickets and reservations in advance, and download the Disneyland app for useful information like attraction wait times, park maps and access to mobile dining.*
Get Your Thrill on Early. There’s nothing like the excitement of being aboard a runaway railroad in the morning! Start your day with a ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This mine train roller coaster dips and twists through rock formations themed to the American Southwest. Be sure to hold onto your hats and glasses! Then cool off in the misty, dark caverns of Pirates of the Caribbean, where your boat navigates adventurous waters. See how many scalawags and ne’er do wells you can spot on your cruise!
Feel the Fun of the Force. Visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for an out-of-this world experience. Explore the planet Batuu, where exotic creatures, cosmic adventures, and yes, even Blue Milk, awaits you. Join the flight crew on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run for an interactive mission. Be sure to use the Disneyland app to join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This attraction of epic scale will leave you breathless as you join the Resistance in a heroic battle against the First Order.
Skip the Line and Mobile Dine. It’s super easy and convenient to use the mobile dining on the Disneyland app. When hunger strikes, simply browse menus and order ahead from Disneyland Resort quick service restaurants. Then, upon arrival at the restaurant, simply tap “I’m here” in the app and head to a designated pick-up window. Plan ahead and buh-bye, line!
Hang out with Pixar Pals. Take a trip to a whimsical boardwalk in Disney California Adventure park where familiar friends from your favorite Pixar films come to life. Thrill seekers can gravitate to The Incredicoaster while less adventurous types can take a spin on Jessie’s Critter Carousel. The whole gang can meet up for a spirited competition on Toy Story Midway Mania! and then share a toast to every kind of adventure at Lamplight Lounge.
Zip on over to Cars Land! Gear up to be a speed racer through Radiator Springs Racers where you’ll meet your competition at the starting line. Along the course you’ll see the familiar “grilles” of Carburetor County’s automotive residents, including Mater, Lightning McQueen and Doc Hudson. Your race pace accelerates to include zooming over hills and whipping around high-banked turns for an automotive memory not soon forgotten.
Discover your Disney Style. Whether your signature look is princess glam or ‘Goofy’ characters, there’s fashion available for everyone at World of Disney, located in the Downtown Disney District. Distinctive designs can also be found in the shops on Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. and Disney California Adventure’s Buena Vista Street. Accessorize with ear headbands, spirit jerseys, baseball caps and more to give your selfies an extra pop.
Sip and Savor as the Sun Sets over The Happiest Place on Earth! There’s no finer way to cap off your perfect day at Disneyland Resort than by enjoying alfresco dining at Carthay Circle Lounge. Indulge in the seasonal menu of Mediterranean-California light fare, which pairs perfectly with classic cocktails from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Here the chefs and mixologists make the magic for tasty memories to indulge in long after your visit ends.
See you next time, Disneyland Resort!
