The Queen of Mean’s big day is here. Today, Disney’s “Cruella” debuts in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access (Additional Fee Required) and there are many ways to embrace your inner Villain at Disney Parks and beyond!
At Disneyland Resort, the iconic “Cruella-Mobile” featured in the film is careening into Downtown Disney District near the Esplanade for a limited time photo opportunity starting today. As an homage to “101 Dalmatians,” filmmakers wanted to include a scene in the film of Cruella manically driving the enormous vehicle that inspires her name. Here’s a look at the live-action version of this quintessential scene.
At Disney Springs, you really can find happily, or wickedly, whatever you’re after with special limited-time merchandise, treats and photo opportunities celebrating the film. Check out the Cookies and Cream Ganache Pop at The Ganachery and a “darling” Cruella Petite Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie, both inspired by the film and available for a limited time through June 6. Evil is in style again with Cruella merchandise available now at DisneyStyle, World of Disney, Havaianas and M∙A∙C Cosmetics and at Melissa Shoes starting June 1. At AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theaters see one of the costumes designed by Oscar-winning costume designer Jenny Beavan for Emma Stone, on display through June 20. Outside the theater, snap a selfie as you walk the red carpet surrounded by all of the glitz and glamor of a Hollywood movie premiere at the limited-time photo opportunity presented by Havaianas and Disney Movie Insiders where you can earn points and get rewarded and see a special “Insider Five” look at the film.
And tune-in for a special Disney Springs Red Carpet Opening live stream event featuring a behind the scenes look at the fashion in the film, making of the new Disney Springs Cruella-themed treats, and a special appearance by Her Universe founder, Ashley Eckstein, paired with a live shopping experience. You can catch it all here today at 6 p.m. EDT / 3 p.m. PDT.
