Capturing Magical Memories with Disney PhotoPass Service

It’s a great opportunity to spend time one-on-one with a Disney PhotoPass photographer who helps capture picture-perfect moments during your Disney Vacation. The photographer was a pro at getting my kids to cooperate and had the most magical spots picked for us. Our photographer went above and beyond to get the perfect shot for us. We can’t wait to do this again!”

Tips for Linking Your Memories

On top of all this magic, it’s now even easier to link those amazing images to your account, and our planDisney team has some tips for you! As you may have read, Disney PhotoPass Service recently rolled out new options to access certain features of the MagicBand on your eligible mobile device as part of the rollout of the new Disney MagicMobile service at Walt Disney World Resort. One of our favorite features is that you can now automatically link your Disney PhotoPass attraction photos and videos to your account through the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device! Here’s how:

To get started with this new feature, you’ll need to do a few things: Enable Bluetooth for the My Disney Experience app before riding, ensure you’ve logged into the app sometime earlier that day, and keep your mobile device out of low power mode. Then, just put your mobile device in your pocket or bag while you enjoy the ride – we’ll take care of the rest!

This feature is now available for all 13 attractions with onboard Disney PhotoPass capture, helping you treasure special memories aboard favorites like Slinky Dog Dash, Space Mountain, Frozen Ever After and more. Plus, at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror^T, you’ll also receive your attraction videos in your account.

For those who prefer to use MagicBands, you can continue to use a MagicBand or use your mobile device to automatically link attraction photos and videos to your account – pick whichever option works best for you. You can even use both or alternate between the two. Photo preview walls will also continue to be available at the exits of select attractions where you can tap your MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass on your mobile device, or park admission card to link your photos to your account. If you plan to reuse a MagicBand from a previous visit, click here for a few tips about your Disney PhotoPass experience.
