Last week, we took a “deep dive look” at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa to discover how they’re connecting life on land to the wonders underwater. For today’s Field Notes episode, we’re continuing our journey across the Pacific to Tokyo DisneySea. At the American Waterfront themed port, guests step into the yesteryear for a glimpse at a promising tomorrow: touring New York City at the turn-of-the-century in classic cars powered exclusively by electricity.
Taking the wheel in this episode are Naoko and Takako from Tokyo Disney Resort’s Environmental Affairs team. They’ll show us how Tokyo Disney Resort is working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by creating experiences like Big City Vehicles that avoid running a premium on power.
Thanks for the lift, Naoko and Takao! To see what else we are doing to power our parks responsibly, check out Disney’s 2030 environmental goals. And, don’t forget to keep checking back in to hear from more of our Cast Members on what their local resorts and parks are doing to help make our tomorrow “bright, big and beautiful!”
