Disney while being pregnant… during a pandemic!

Last week we came home from 5 days in Florida. This was the second time we went to Walt Disney World in the last two months. My wife is almost 7 months pregnant so clearly she was pregnant both times. Here are a few things that I’d like to share with you if you’re traveling to Disney while pregnant-
.
.
1️⃣- Bring comfortable shoes and bring multiple pairs to the parks! Your shoes may be comfortable in the morning but as you’re walking around and your feet swell, you may need something more open toed like Birkenstock’s.
.
.
2️⃣ Don’t take the busses if you don’t have to. Try taking the Disney Skyliner if you are staying at a resort with access to it. Also, use the Skyliner when going from Epcot to Hollywood studios and vice versa! The busses have been ridiculous and we waited for an hour for a bus multiple times. We were staying at Pop Century but that didn’t help when we were at either Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom.
.
.
3️⃣ Don’t wear thick cloth masks. It is hard enough that you have to wear one, so wear the regular surgical masks or one that you find is easier to breathe in. Walking all through Disney in a mask that you made because it looks cool but is very thick in material will bite you in the butt! Lol
.
.
4️⃣ Take a lot of pictures. It’s a very fun time to be in Disney.  The trips where you get to go and have your little one still inside you, you will want to especially remember these moments. It’s your little ones first trip and they don’t even know it!
.
.
5️⃣ Get. Your. Pins! Disney gives pins and you can write on them why you are celebrating. We put “mommy to be” and “daddy to be” and man we got some love! You won’t regret it!

There’s so much more you can add, but most of all, enjoy this special time at the parks. It’s going to be a whole new experience on your next visit with your new little Mouseketeer!
