Grab the family and wander on over to the gorgeous new stables and pony rides at Tri-Circle D Ranch. At the ranch you can even throw that cowboy hat on and try your hand at horseback riding. Feeling a bit more adventurous partner? No worries, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort also has fishing, canoeing and kayaking! planDisney Tip: Be sure to take advantage of the beautiful biking and jogging trails and remember bike rentals are available on site.

Warm days call for a dip in the swimming hole. Okay, it’s not a real swimming hole, it’s the beautiful Meadow Swimmin’ Pool. Guests will also enjoy relaxing in the whirlpool spa after a full day at the parks.

planDisney Tip: Tamela recommends renting a golf cart while camping and finding a perfect spot to watch the Electrical Water Pageant Parade on those spectacular Florida evenings. (Show subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.)

The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are fully equipped and even dogs can enjoy a stay here! However, Jackie H. reminds guests if they are indeed bringing Fido in the motor-home, be sure to review the pet-friendly policy and request a pet-friendly loop when making a reservation at the campsites.
