As most everyone knows, Disney parks will be closing as of tomorrow night here at Walt Disney World due to Coronavirus concerns. Parks are open today and tomorrow and then will not reopen for the rest of March. The conditions of course are subject to change, but as of right now that is all that we know. I am not at a park today being that my younger son is of higher risk with this whole thing due to asthma. I do have staff members at Hollywood Studios currently and this is what they are seeing. There is definitely not the usual crowd that you would see on a normal Saturday, but there are still people there enjoying the park.
Disney has taken extra precautions to keep guests safer by adding more hand sanitizing stations around the park. The same goes for the other theme parks as well.
Yes crowds are lower than usual, but boarding groups for Rise of the Resistance are of course still out! As I said above, the parks will be closing tomorrow. Currently we are hearing that Disney Springs and Disney resorts will still be open. We are watching for news as things are always subject to change so please stay tuned for more information. Love, blessings and pixie dust sent. Stay safe Disney fam.
