For quite some time now, the “Star Wars; A Galaxy Far, Far Away” stage show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been a staple and fan favorite. The show features beloved characters, both rebels and the dark side, and scenes from the Star Wars movie franchise playing in the background. Well, as most know, a new attraction is opening soon at the Studios so that means change is coming.
We have learned that the Star Wars show will end its run on February 22nd. The stage production is in front of the Chinese theater and that is where the new ride is. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is scheduled to open on March 4th. Fans were wondering what would happen with the stage show once it came time for the debut of Runaway Railway. Now we know! Also, Galaxy’s Edge is in the back of the park, but there still is a bit of Star Wars themed nods throughout the park. The Star Wars Launch Bay for one. Will we see more changes as far as that is concerned? Time will tell. Stay tuned for more updates as we see them!
