Epcot has been bursting with color and excitement ever since the Epcot International Festival of the Arts kicked off last weekend! From now until Feb. 24, 2020, you can experience all the fantastic artwork, stunning performances and art-inspired family fun this celebration has to offer. The Disney on Broadway Concert Series has returned to the festival this year, bringing fan-favorite music to World Showcase as Broadway stars sing renditions of songs from award-winning Disney shows.
The concert series is already underway, and we are excited to welcome a new set of performers to the America Gardens Theatre stage on Jan. 26. Kara Lindsay, who starred in the original Disney on Broadway production of “Newsies,” and Kevin Massey, best known for his starring role in the original production of Disney on Broadway’s “Tarzan,” will perform eight nights of shows beginning this Sunday. The pair will be joined by another dynamic duo of Broadway stars, Liana Hunt (“Newsies”) and Adam Jacobs (“Aladdin”), for a special joint performance on Feb. 9.
The Disney Parks Blog had a chance to hear all about Kara and Kevin’s upcoming shows. Check out the video below to learn more!
