Today, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is debuting at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort as one of the most advanced and immersive experiences ever undertaken by Walt Disney Imagineering. And to celebrate the occasion, the D23 Inside Disney podcast is hosting special day-of coverage right here on the Disney Parks Blog – direct from Batuu!
Beginning at 8 a.m. PT (11 a.m. EST), we’re launching our first D23 Inside Disney video stream from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and sharing some of the secrets from the dazzling talents behind this epic new attraction. And you can bet there will be a few surprises too!
As many of you know, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is one of the most ambitious attractions ever created for a Disney park. The thrilling action takes place in massive sets that give guests the feeling of stepping inside a Star Wars film as they elude the clutches of Kylo Ren and the First Order in a mad dash through a Star Destroyer.
