We’re gearing up for the most magical race weekend on Earth during the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna! With seven races and three challenges hosted by a star-studded cast of characters, participants will look forward to lots of fun and excitement and of course, MEDALS. We’re excited to raise the curtain and give you a look at the designs of the retro-inspired finisher medals:
Starting off the classic race weekend, Pluto makes his ‘paws’itively exciting return to the Walt Disney World 5K. As luck would have it, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit will be joining us for the Walt Disney World 10K! Our littlest runners can prepare to dash to the finish line with Goofy as the host of the runDisney Kids Races presented by GoGo squeeZ® Applesauce.
Why you oughtta… RUN (don’t waddle) your way to the finish line during the Walt Disney World Half Marathon, hosted by our feathered friend Donald Duck! Rounding out the mile-filled weekend, give a ch’EAR as leading lady, Minnie Mouse, joins our pal Mickey in the spotlight for the first time as co-hosts of the Walt Disney World Marathon!
It’s a 39.3-mile celebration that’s been 15 years in the making during the Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge! We’re excited for this year’s bling, featuring our favorite Goof along with a few fun, “spinning” elements!
Challenges, accepted. Our ‘Dopiest’ runners conquering 48.6 miles over four days as part of the Dopey Challenge can look forward to earning some serious bling with this year’s finisher medals. Have an epic end to the ultimate runner’s vacation when you set sail with Disney Cruise Line and participate in the Disney Castaway Cay Challenge! Head here for a look at this year’s finisher medal design, celebrating Captain Minnie!
