Calling all travelers! It’s a delectable celebration that’s 10 years in the making as the 2019 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend makes its return to the Walt Disney World Resort October 31 – November 3, 2019. Today we’re sharing our excitement for this year’s events and serving up a reveal of the beautiful finisher medals that will be awaiting participants at the finish line. Get ready to pack your bags as we are celebrating countries from around the world!
We can “bear”-ly contain our excitement for the Disney Fall Feast 5K, taking place at Epcot for the first time. Run your way around the world while celebrating with a finisher medal featuring the classic characters from “The Jungle Book.”
Participants of the Disney Wine & Dine 10K will do what Frozen things do… and go RUNNING! This year we are celebrating our “Frozen” friends, Sven and Olaf, with a beautifully “icy” finisher medal.
Have a real ‘slice’ during the 10th Anniversary Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon! Runners setting their course for 13.1 miles around Walt Disney World Resort will feel the spirit of America as we celebrate with classic Mickey Mouse donning his patriotic – and tastiest – best on this year’s finisher medal!
It’s a 19.3-mile FIESTA during the Disney Two Course Challenge! Birds of a feather who complete both the Disney Wine & Dine 10K and Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon for the most festive event of the weekend will earn a finisher medal celebrating “The Three Caballeros.”
Our littlest runners of the 2019 runDisney Kids Races presented by GoGo squeeZ® Applesaucewill have no worries celebrating along with friends from “The Lion King,” Timon and Pumbaa, and earn a fun medallion. Spaces still remain for both the runDisney Kids Dashes and One Mile Run.
New to this year, participants of both the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon and Disney Two Course Challenge can celebrate a race well-run during the weekend-exclusive Post-Race Partywith an earlier entry time! Experience all the excitement of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival beginning at 5 p.m. After-hours fun, including special 10th Anniversary entertainment and rare characters, will begin at 10 p.m. Half Marathon and Challenge participants can invite their friends and family to join the fun with the purchase of a ticket.
