If your Fourth of July plans include Walt Disney World Resort, members of the Disney Parks Moms Panel are here to offer you some magical last-minute tips.
For many, nothing says the Fourth like a barbeque. No worries, Tabitha has the perfect solution.
“My family considers a barbeque an absolute must for this holiday, so I am thrilled Woody’s Roundup is offering a Barbeque Buffet at Disney’s Contemporary Resort this year! Not only will the food be delicious, but a fireworks viewing spot is included! Combining food and fireworks … what could be better than that? And this special offering is available July 4 through 6.”
If Independence Day has you in the patriotic mood, panelist Kari has a tip that even Sam Eagle would recommend!
“While we are at Magic Kingdom Park, we visit The Hall of Presidents, and also make sure to take in The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History,” she states. “While we typically enjoy these attractions throughout the year, it means so much more on the Fourth.”
While at Magic Kingdom Park, Rayna offers up more food advice which includes her personal favorite tip that one must eat at Casey’s Corner. Because according to her, is it really an Independence Day celebration without a hotdog?
She adds, “After lunch, find a bit of shade and watch the ‘Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade.’ I love the characters in their holiday attire, and just like hotdogs, you have to watch a parade on the 4th!”
Enjoying Voices of Liberty at the American Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot is where you will find Angie and her family. It’s a tradition she can’t miss.
And for those Guests staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, you don’t want to miss the golf cart parade.
Okay, so maybe you won’t be at Walt Disney World Resort on the Fourth of July. Amy M. has a tip for you too!
“I’ve never been able to celebrate the Fourth of July at Walt Disney World, but my family and I look forward to watching it via the Disney Parks Blog Live Stream each year. We pop some popcorn (put into our souvenir popcorn buckets, of course) and stream it to the big TV in the living room. It’s truly the next most magical thing to being there!”
