The amazing new event, Disney Villains After Hours, kicked off last night at the Magic Kingdom. The separate ticket party begins after the park closes and runs until 1am on select nights this summer. We attended the opening night and loved every minute of it. It reminded me of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on a smaller scale, and of course minus trick or treating. You do however get soft drinks, ice cream and popcorn at select stands throughout the park that’s included with admission. Other features of the party are specialty treats and merchandise available for purchase, a dance party at the castle, a brand new stage show called Villains Unite the Night, the Maleficent dragon roaming the park, enhancements to Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain, photopass opportunities and more! Here are some photos from opening night!
Here are some video clips from the evening so you can get a better idea of what Disney Villains After Dark has to offer!
You can dress as a nod to your favorite characters, aka Disney Bounding. My friends and I did a Disney Bound of The Descendants! The same rules apply as far as costumes go as they do during Halloween. Disney Villains After Hours ticket price is $139 per person, and you can go on Walt Disney World’s website for dates and to purchase tickets. This event was a spectacular time, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
