Over the years, I have seen photos and such of Space Mountain with the lights on, but never actually witnessed it at the park. Over the weekend we were at the Magic Kingdom, and were getting ready to go on the People Mover. We saw a lot of people coming from Space Mountain but didn’t really think anything of it, we later realized that the ride was down. While on the People Mover, we went into the Space Mountain building and something looked different…. the lights were on! Everyone on all the carts quickly pulled out their phones, as it’s not something that you see all the time! This was a first for me, so we got some footage as well!
