One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to head over to the different resorts and check out the holiday decor. Wilderness Lodge has one of the most beautiful Christmas trees. It is just so grand and the atmosphere of the resort just makes you feel like you are somewhere up North.
Sometimes you can park at the resort and let them know that you are just coming to look at the holiday decor, but when it is busy they will ask you to park at the TTC and take the boat over from the Magic Kingdom. That’s ok because it’s a beautiful boat ride with plenty to see. We took a boat ride at sunset and it was absolutely stunning.
Once you arrive at the resort via boat there is a beautiful walking path that takes you up to the resort, past the pool, and into the grand lobby.
The tree is huge. To get a good shot, the kids and I walked upstairs to get a better view. The tree goes all the way up to the top floor.
One thing I love about Disney is how they make each tree different and relate to the place it’s at. This tree is very rustic and reminds me of something you would find in a mountain ski lodge.
Walking around you will find some smaller trees, wreaths, and garland throughout the resort. They even had a small seasonal stand set up with holiday drinks and treats to purchase.
I highly recommend stopping by the Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to check out the beautiful holiday decor. Happy Holidays!
