Holiday Decor at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

As I’ve said before, one of my favorite things to do during the holidays at Walt Disney World is to resort hop to see all the beautiful holiday decorations.  Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is one of my favorites.

Stepping into the resort, it’s absolutely stunning. So elegant.  When you walk in you see the grand Christmas tree front and center in the main lobby.

The Victorian style tree is filled with beautiful ornaments.  So much to see throughout the tree.

Not only is the tree the centerpiece for the resort, but so is the giant Gingerbread House.

You can smell the gingerbread as soon as you walk into the resort.  It just smells like Christmas.  So many little details hidden throughout the house.  You must walk around it looking at all the tiny little details.

We can’t forget my kids favorite part, purchasing some yummy treats from the gingerbread house.  They have all kinds of yummy treats such as, gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies, peppermint bark, chocolate covered brownies, chocolate covered oreos, and much more.  Everything we tried was so yummy, but my personal favorite is the peppermint bark.

Throughout the resort you will find lots of holiday decor, both inside and outside.  I highly recommend hopping on the monorail and checking it out.  You won’t be disappointed.
