The one thing I love about the holidays at Walt Disney World is that each park and resort have a different spin on the decor. It’s not like each park and resort has the same tree and the same style of decorations. They are all so different. Yesterday we went to Animal Kingdom to see the decorations and to celebrate Mickey and Minnie’s 90th Birthday.
You can’t miss the tree when you go through bag check at Animal Kingdom. Walt Disney World is known for their grand looking trees. They are the centerpiece of the holidays at Disney. The Animal Kingdom’s tree is themed towards, you guessed it, animals.
The tree is surrounded by all kinds of animal characters and cute little holiday surprises. Tigger is one of my favorites.
The tree is decorated with all kinds of animal themed decorations. You really need to take a close look at it. Every time I walk by it, I find something new.
There’s beautiful garland strung throughout the entrance way to the park.
The store is beautifully decorated with Christmas trees. And of course they sell all kinds of ornaments that are themed towards Animal Kingdom as well as so many other Christmas ornaments that you can find throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
Like all the parks, they sell plenty of holiday merchandise for you to do your Christmas shopping.
And last, but certainly not least, Mickey and Minnie are looking absolutely adorable and festive in their holiday attire. So as you can see, Animal Kingdom adds their own flare to the Holiday Season. So make sure you head on over to check the park out during this holiday season. Happy Holidays!
