I know Michele got coverage of the holiday festivities at Hollywood Studios last week, but my family and I were so excited to check it out for ourselves this past weekend. I wasn’t sure if there would be any Santa Alien buckets left, since the regular Alien bucket sold out the first weekend it was released, but to our surprise they still had plenty of buckets left. So ya, we got ours!
This dancing ornament window display is my favorite for the holiday season. I always have to stop on our way in and out of the park to take a look.
Once our popcorn bucket was acquired, we headed over to Toy Story Land to ride Slinky Dog Dash and check out all the holiday decor. Woody is ready for the holidays in his festive scarf.
We were fortunate to score a Slinky Dog Dash fast pass this morning, so we were excited to see Rex with his cute little antlers. When Slinky flies by, you can hear jingle bells.
Hamm is adorable in his cute little Santa hat.
The Alien ornaments are a cute touch too.
Our next stop was the Frozen Sing a Long show. I always enjoy seeing this show and during the holidays they have the special holiday ending with an appearance from Olaf.
Our next stop was the beautiful display in Echo Lake. Day or night it’s absolutely stunning.
Next we stumbled upon a nice little surprise while waiting for our next Fast Pass. Santa Goofy and Chip and Dale decked out in their holiday attire.
We found Santa Goofy just past Star Tours on the way to Muppets. While we were waiting for him, Chip and Dale walked by. So of course we headed there next.
They were so fun to interact with. We found them over by the Galaxy Edge wall.
To end our day we watched the holiday projections on Tower of Terror. I love that they added the lasers this year it really added a cool effect to the snow and pictures just don’t do it justice.
Hollywood Studios has really done a great job with the holiday decor. There’s still no Osborne lights, but it’s still a beautiful place to visit during the holidays.
