It’s the season of giving—and Disney chefs are helping to bring the magic of our theme parks to others in the Central Florida community.
Chef Lenny DeGeorge, culinary director, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, a team of culinary Cast Members and Disney VoluntEARs will prepare and serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings to nearly 700 residents at the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida— continuing a 20-year partnership of Walt Disney World food and beverage teams visiting the Coalition twice each month to prepare a fresh, delicious meal.
In the spirit of the season, we wanted to share one of our Disney kitchen Thanksgiving favorites – Sweet Potato Casserole, to those who may need a little extra inspiration for their holiday meal planning.
